I figure you have worked on yours enough, it should go quicker one more time. Whenever you want to help. I'm going to go back through Laurel and pick up Res' spring compressor.
The loader is a nice mod, Sparky.

Not gona make it to Res' today to get the spring compressor. I'll go to Lowe's, get some all thread, and make one.
Res, send me some pics of yours.
You can rent them from Advance or AutoZone by leaving a deposit. You get it all back when you're done.

If that is your plan, you need to pick up a welder, also.
Here is mine. It clamps to the spring so that is cannot slip. One clamp is welded to a sleeve while the other is welded to a threaded coupling nut. Nuts are welded at one end of the all-thread to make them into "bolts". The all-thread is 3/4-10. It is very overbuilt for safety.

How long is the all thread?
Mike.
I've got some nice coil spring compressors for mcpherson struts that you're welcome to use if they will work. They may not be long enough, they're about 10" at max opening, VERY heavy duty. Let me know and I can bring them to work for you to try....
