Thats cool, that job probably fits you perfect. From meeting you on the last ride you seem like the kind of guy that can make friends with anybody. I'll be home third sunday in may, but will be in gulfshores about to tie the knot......so maybe next trip i can come bowl with you guys. I've been meaning to meet some of the guys on that forum, most of them live closer to me. I've never got one of those things on my windshield, having been spotted in my jeep..........I guess it dont stick out enough?

What was making noise? Your jeep is like mine, it doesnt have locking hubs, did you swap over to the locking hubs? I've considered this so i can put a hard locker in my front diff. My jeep currently is running a lock rite locker and its junk in my opinion...
When i say junk, it locks when it wants to, so it might as well be open....
Did it last winter briefly. It is from the front left wheel area. I thought it was the brake wear indicator, bought rotors and pads, pulled the wheels off, and brakes were OK. This winter it got worse. I am speculating the hub bearings. Low on grease and reaely dry when cold.
I did not switch to locking hubs. Probably would have been the optimum time, but didn't even think about it til you mentioned it just now.
Now, thanks to you, I am beating myself up.

If i go in the front axle of mine again, will be with warn shafts, locking hubs and detroit locker......Rear axle of mine is already built up with c clip elimnator, superior axle shafts, 488 gear and detroit locker.
Dont beat yourself up, wait until it breaks and fix it then. Thats all im waiting for, break what i have and go back better.....
cleaned and reoiled the k&n filter. It was pretty past due...
Adjusted my linkage so my steering wheel is clocked properly going down the road.
Made new stone guards for the front. (How-To is coming)
Mounted my tool box in the bed. I will post pics in Modding and Projects. It still lacks paint and a rain cover in this pic.
