I want to thank Nismo_Trukr for coming to the rescue today. My wife and mother-in-law were having car trouble in Hattiesburg this afternoon. Being stuck at work in Bay Springs, I called Nismo_Trukr.
He came right out to thier location and got them going in no time. He beat the tow truck (that mom-in-law had already called) by seconds. The tow truck's bed was down and touching the rear tires of the car when he got it cranked.
It turned out to be that the alarm system had it locked down. He called the dealership and got instructions on how to reset it. Very resourceful.
Anyway, we are all appreciative.

You're very welcome. It wasn't a problem at all, and I'm glad I could help. It worked out great since I had the day off from work today. Thats what I like about this forum so much... when I'm in a jam there is usually someone nearby that I can call and get help from!
Good job. That is what I like about the people on this forum.

Yeah good luck with that. LOL
Way to go Ben. you over achiever you. Ha ha
I would love to have seen him in action. Mom said he worked noticably faster when the tow truck arrived.

Humans behaving Humanly. It is wonderful! Don't know how the dealership told ya to reset the system, but most of time if you remove both battery cables and touch them together it will reset all computer controlled parts and it will start.
This one wasn't quite that simple.
