My step-daughter's boyfriend has a 2wd hardbody that he wants to swap in a small block chevy.
He is looking for headers that will fit.
Any suggestions?

He's not a bad dood. We're talking legal, sanctioned drag racing, not street racing.
O dam street racing is more fun, or it used to be back in the day..
there are a couple of sites that cover that. I think the headers have to be custom made. there's a lot of work that has to be done to make it safe for the drags, hope he plans on dropping in some cash to it.
Step-dad-n-law will help him with the cash needed.
It has been done many times in the 4x4s, but they usually have a 3" body lift.
I knew of a realy nice one on on of the forums, but cannot remember who it was.
He might ask around on 4x4parts.com on there forum. It is a nissan forum. That's where I would start looking.
get some shorty's and you wont have too much work to make them to fit... custom is the way to go if you can find a good shop to spend some time on them... but keep in mind that res is right, most swaps like that are lifted to clear for everything that happens with a bigger engine swap. mine are custom, but i have a 4.3 vortec 6 banger in a lifted truck... good luck man
