ok i really want at least a rear locker so i want to know if going with the $300ish lock right is good or should i go ahead and get some expensive one

the lock rite is great, i have run one in my d35 for over a year, with 35 boggers and no problems or complaintes. well worth the money, but check the forums and e-bay before you pay all that for a new one.
If you're planning to stay with the existing gearing I'd just do a drop in "lunchbox" locker. If you're gonna re-gear anyway and have the $$$ I might go with a Detroit or something..
Lockrite...Love mine and I drive it to school everyday, Barely notice it.

I run a lockrite. just depends on how serious off road is to you. Is it a fashion statement or functionality?
get an aussie if you are running on and off road - cheap (about 300) and no silly air lines to poop out on ya
yea it'll be a daily driver for sure to school and what not so i'll check out the aussie but probably just get a used lock rite
