Well report on the weather in your area as the storm moves through Mississippi. It appears we may all get a lot of rain out of this one. I saw on the weather report tonight 5-10" of rain could fall here.
Right now just a few drops, not even raining right now in Richland.
nothin so far down here in ocean springs
Laurel:
Just drizzling off and on. Some light winds. It looks like we are getting the part that is coming by land, so that might explain why we haven't gotten much rain from it yet.
I hope you all fair the storms well.
This is not a sales pitch, but I used to work for one of the largest disaster recovery services in the world. Even though I quit working for them, I still fill they are the best. If anyone needs restoration work done, I know people. Let me know.
Winds are picking up out in the big pond. About 20 mph right now and the seas are 8 to 10 ft, very little rain.
we got a wopping 1-2" oooooooooo bad Fay
Only about a 1.5" of rain yesterday. Looks like the north part of MS is getting the most of the rain.
I sure didn't want the 5-10" they were talking about.
My prediction is that we havent seen the worst of Faye yet. The first time around, it completely missed us to the east. We were in the middle of it, and still are. It is going to rotate one more time, and the next full rotation, we will more than likely catch that real heavy band as Faye is on its way out. Again, this is just my own observation having looked at the radar maps for the past day or two.
We got a bunch of rain up here on the north side yesterday & a little wind, but nothing significant. Probably more rain & thunderstorms this afternoon & tonight as she makes her way on past.
well I hope it pushing it into Hotsprings AR. so its nice a cool up there =)
