Trying to decide which tire do ya'll think is the best Pro Comp Xterrain, or Mickey Thompson Baja Claws.

SpoiledRotten just bought a set of Pro Comps. I think he is liking them pretty good. I had a set of Pro Comp A/T's one time they were ok.

I've always liked the look of the M/T claw. Just hear they wear fast.

I do love my 33" Pro Comps. Do your homework if you are planning on running quite a bit on the road. I've read that the MT Claws are great in mud, and I know the PC XTerrains are, but soft compound on the M/T will cause you to buy a new set quicker than I was willing to chance. There's not much difference, IMO, in the look of the two tires, but was advised that I would get much longer life out of the PC, so that is the route I took. A guy on Jeepforum just PM'd me yesterday, stating that he has 30,000 miles on his PC and still most of the tread. Not bad right there. Someone else told me they had 50,000 on theirs and about 1/2 of the original tread. I'm sure the weight of the vehicle they are on makes a big difference, so I'm expecting long life out of them on the Jeep. I'm also being pretty gentle with them while on the black top. The buy 3 get the 4th free, plus free shipping helped with my decision too. Good luck with your decision.

where did u get that deal at. I wanna get some 31x10.50 but plan to get 33x12.50 one day i got 13,000 on my Swampers and they 3/4 gone

Don't know if the deal is still running or for how long, if it is still going but this is where I got them.

Shoot, I probably have close to 10,000 miles on my Baja Claws, and still look new, except for some trail rash.

hey i noticed they have a 33x12.50 Radial Baja Claw and a 33x13.50 Bais Belted Claw the Bias ply has deeper lugs and voids thread goes all the way down the side wall. Would the Bias ply wear out faster than the radial verson since it's the same thread design.
