ok guys i need help trying to figure this out. right now im running a 15x8 rim with 33x12.50's and a 3" lift. i want to run a 15x10 with the same size tire and i know i would need to do a Body lift and im guessing a 3" BL would help this out but im not sure. how many of you out there are running a 10" wide rime on a smaller truck like a taco or forntier? and if i have to cut the fenders to make it work is it worth it.
ive got 15x10 rims on 33in. tires with a 3 in.susp. lift and 2in. body lift with little rub offroad
so you think with both 3in. body lift and suspension lift i would be ok? what are the specs on your wheels matt?
Yall switch wheels! Didnt you want a 15x8 Matt?
well my biggest issue with doing a body lift is i found a front and rear bumper that i like and i don't want to have that big gap between the body and bumper.
It has a lot to do with the offset of the wheel. If they don't rub now, and you get wider rims with the same offset, I doubt that you will have a problem. In that scenario, the tires will be in the same place that they are now. They will just look wider.

If you go with less offset, like Matt has, the wheels will also stick out further, possibly creating rub problems.
i'll have to find out the specs on my rims from josh cuasei bought them from him. and im kinda goin for the wider look and stance
ive got a 83 toyota w/ 15x10 and 35x14 gumbos. no body lift just 2 inch lift in front and 3 in rear. slight rubbage nothing major. but rez is 100% correct the offset of your wheels is the biggest factor.
My forunna has 3" suspension lift and 3.62" backspace 15x10's with 33's, slight rubbing when twisted and turning but it's not too bad, sounds worse than it is.
I did exactly what you want to do with my 99. I had Mickey THompson Classic IIs with BFG MT 33x12.50x15s 3" Cornfed Spacer and 3" 4Crawler BL. I think you could probably get away with a 2" BL since you are already running 33s but dont quote me on that.
