I'm trying to use 4.5" leafs and 4.5" coils and fender trimming. Will I be able to run 33s with that or would I need more lift? I think i'm going with a sye kit and a front cherokee driveshaft. Already have 4.56s ordered awhile back Yukon got a great deal on it. But, let me know what you guys think. Seems like Cherokees have problems clearing big wide tires.
Depends on how drastically you trim, but 33's should be possible with trimming and 4.5". You can always extend bumpstops, too. 32's would fit fine with full articulation, though. Wheel backspacing will also affect the outcome. You're gonna put a front driveshaft in the rear? Never heard of that...
I agree, with the right trimming, they could fit. Ya didnt say how wide of a "33". That can matter as well.
I have heard of a few folks putting a rear shaft up front and doing away with the CV style
Well DM im putting the front CV driveshaft in the rear from a junk cherokee. Ben told it would work. Any ideas. The tires are 33x12.50. could I go 4.5" lift with the 1.5" teraflex budget boost with the 1.5" spacer for front and 1.5" shackle in the rear to make 6" lift how about that with 33s?
That would give you 5.5" to 6", which should fit 33's. But I'd just fork up the money and get a 6" lift (preferably long arm) to go that route.

Yup, would be bout the same money after its all done
Very true well since itn will be parked for a while maybe I should do a little at a time and do that what do tal think
I would go with the full kit. U still wanting this tranny?
I would man but I can't afford a full kit and yes man I surely do man why
Regardless of what size lift you go with you need to adjusts your bumpstops the same. I had 33-12.50 with 4in of lift with the fenders trimed and almost no up travel. I have about 7in of lift and the same bump stops now. Just more travel up. The distance between your tire and your fender will not change when fully compressed with out bump stops. I run 5in over stock but my tires are out past my fenders. If you keep them inside the fender you can do less.
