i want to put a straight axle on my 95 z71 but have no idea about it is it hard and is it worth it
not TOO BAD if you have some fab skillz and cash, and definately worth it if you wheel it
well do no not have the skills and not enough cash at the moment but i just do not know if it would be better to do that or buy me something else to make a trail rig out of
buy a jeep and use the truck for a tow rig
i have thought about that to cause either way i go i am going to dump alot of money regardless
i like the sas idea, its custom, different...........id dont wanna be like everyone else, thats why im sas'ing mine in the future
sas ing is a good idea. but having a dedicated trail rig is much better imo. that way you can wheel harder and not worry about how you're gonna get to work the next day if you break something. there are alot of fairly cheap vehicles that make good trail rigs. yota's jeeps sami's etc.
I am all for a seperate rig for trail abuse too. the only thing i think that sucks on that parts though is finding parking for the trailer and rig.
Smaller rigs have more places to ride. Easier to recover, too.
