Anyone know how to change one on a 2001 TJ ? Was blowing fluid all over the passenger side floor board. I have it bypassed at the firewall for now. I tore the dashdown in attempts to get at it but got to the point where I thought it was over my head. Its cold outside...help. I will be willing to compensate someoen to do this. Just not the 600.00-800.00 the stealership would charge.
i have the complete 2001 TJ factory service manual if u need it - it is in electronic form too! i would host here on the sire but the file is bigger than the pdf's allowed

Kazzx - anything I have ever touched with the words heater core = time... Not that hard of job just a lot to take out and put back in. I've never changed one in my jeep, but most of the time dash has had to come out in the other trucks/cars.
My contact said he would bo it for $125 labor. You just need the core. PM me if you want the info

yo just let me know next time we meet i can burn it or throw it on a flash drive
125 is a good deal - from what a hear I think you have to take out some of the dash and crap like that just to get to the dang thing!
