The passenger side torsion bar spline was warped so we squeezed the retainer plate onto the square end of the torsion bar, then ran it up the spline as far as it would go, then torched and hammered it until the spline and plate were flush and installed the rednecked torsion bar.

The gulwing door freely floats about 16" from the bottom of the door to the dmc door sill:

With the torsion bar figured out, I did manage to cutout a piece of plastic in the shape of the rear glass and install it with caulk and rivets and black it out... no need in using the real rear glass since the Time Machine components just cover it up anyway:

Started to tackle the Bronco-to-DeLorean wire merge process when the binnacle and passenger knee pad arrived so I mounted those and tossed the seat in:

Dad took some photos of me sitting in it. Now if only I could do something about those tiny pedals and my size 20" shoes:

Prefitted the front fascia and spoiler... looks like there may be space for a diamond plate bumper and warn winch on the end of BroncoII frame where it's chrome bumper originally was... blacked out ofcourse... what do y'all think?

Decided to tackle the rear-end adjustment problem yesterday, purchased a couple carbide masonry drill bits (easiest way to cut through leaf springs), jacked it up and removed the 33x12.50xR15 wheels/tires, attached one end of the come along winch to the FordeLorean rear-end and the other end to my truck, loosened the U-bolts, dropped the read-end, drilled the new hole through the leaf springs, pulled the rear-end back 3 inches, reinstalled everything... now the tires are nolonger rubbing the inner wheel well.

howd the bit work?.....whooda thunk it
It shouldn't cause any problems (only moved it back 3 inches) except the constant velocity joint didn't expand enough so we replaced it with a regular one from the same year/make/model with the splinded yoke shaft which seemed to work almost perfectly for it.

Yesterday was somewhat slow due to all the rain started mapping out all the wires for the BroncoII to DeLorean merge... what a mess! While parts scavenging at one of the local junkyards one of the workers pointed us toward a spot where he claimed "dat ol' Bricklin with da rear-mount'd engine" sat until they sold it over a year ago. Did he just say what I thought he did? After waging through the mud we arrived at the spot which was covered with tall grass and lots of bolts and parts scatted everywhere. A closer look at the parts revealed their true idenity, snapped some photos of what I gathered up and took home for $50... oh the joy of junkyard finds! Got home, cleaned up the all the junk with a sos pad and noticed one end of the torsion bar was hexagon shaped and the some of the splined teeth on the other end was missing... will tackle that today or tomorrow. Decided to install the lights since I now have both sides and trace down the wiring for them. What a day!
