What could be causing my cb to crackle up my voice when i key up to talk. Could it be something to do with the mount because it was in my heavy chevy and it talked fine. Im really not sure but i need to fix it before tha next ride.

Check mic connection, grounds, and coax.
The coax adapter does not fit just right should i make me a good mount and put tha mount the coax is suposed to have.?Unsure
I think you just answered your own question.
check your ground at the mount

See if i did thank you cause it takes someone else to make everything fit sometimes ha ha.Detective2
The coax must have a good connection at the radio and at the antenna, also the mount as well as the radio must have a good ground. Once you get it sorted out you need to check your SWR's and tune the antenna or risk burning the finals out in your radio.
If all that fails, try moving the antenna farter from metal. Mine used to squeal when it was mounted close to the cab. Very similar to YOUR installation.

You would gain a lot of talk power if you could get it above roof level somehow. That tin top would set up a good ground plane. Smile
I could build me a mount and put it right on tha roof. or mount it to tha very top of tha back door..Yeah
As long as the mount is strong, the spring will keep it from breaking off. I say do it. Yes
