how hard is it to put 2" coil spacers on the front of a 2wd 04 silverado?
i thought they had T-bars not coils
2wd's have coils
If there anything like a toyota tacoma they get pretty bad!!
bens fronty was pretty easy
2wd I am pretty sure has coil springs but I don't think they are like the Tacoma and Frontier I think you have to disconnect the spindle from the LCA and the spring just sits in there instead of it being like a coilover shock assembly.
That would make it way easyer ha tha toys get kinda complex!
Me and a friend of mine gonna try to do this one soon. Just lift tha front that is..

there a pain in the but because the control arms wont alow room for spring compressers and the coils really stiff when your trying to pry them back in!
ha.. always be careful with compressed springs... they will knock you head off if your not careful...
Just search a chevy forum... there's got to be a gazillion how-to's on the internet about it.
