Ok this is my deal i'm looking at two different things right now a 2008 kawaski teryx and a kawaski brute force 750.... this is the thing what do i get i want all the good and bad anyone can come up with. i dont plan to do any lifting or hevy mods. i been lookin at the teryx for a while but not sure about a sideXside i know i like atvs i've had a few....... open to any and everything....

I work on brutes pretty regularly. They are great bikes loads of power. They have great get up and go Good low end torqe. Down sides terrible tie rodends Motor is shot if it ever gets water in it. They have nickle plated cyl. witch usually runs 200 a cyl. to have bored out. And depending on tha tires they are bad about braking axles. I have never worked on tha sidebyside but i can ask around i know someone who has.. Rangertoy has a brute for sale just to let you know.
one reason about havent worked on the side by side too much is not very many ppl have them they make after market tie rod ends for the brute thats tuff as nails and dern near indestructable...... wouldnt you think that the trex has the same type engine as the brute.... ie. rhino grizzly... rzr sportsman... just a thought might have the same cost on engine repair either way
i like the brute engins thats why the teryx is my sXs of choice. i dont ride in much deep water. but thanks i didnt know it was that much to bore one. as far as tires i'm goin mud lites prolly a 27... keep it comin folks
i personally love Yamaha and love my Grizzly 700. If i had to choose between the 2 you listed i would prob. go with the brute force 750 cause im more of a atv. If i had to choose a sxs it would be between a rzr or a rhino. check out the guys over at highlifter.com they can give ya some more help and ideas.

ive had many four wheelers, and would like to try out a s-x-s. my boss has a rhino and its awesome!!...i myself would try the side by side cuz its more family friendly
Tator I'll sell you our rhino with the big tires and wheels for $7300. It's only had two tanks of gas in it. If you want come over and drive it, to help you make your decision on s-x-s, or atv.
the only thing I don't like about the tyrex is the diff lock. Why can't kawi put in a push button like everyone else??? stupid. For aftermarket parts I would look out West for parts because they (sxs) are pretty popular out on the dunes.
yazoojeeper i been riding a 660 that a friend of mine has and i like it pretty good. i just not sure if i like it more than a atv yet? not sure about the 450 but the 660has a wake link in the motor so tryin to stay away the v-twin teryx/bruye motor has been tough to me a a whole lotta power.... but that is a good price.....
