I love my Brute. I do work on it alot but I am also running 29.5 Outlaws. I think either of the Kawis with 27" you would be happy with and shouldnt have many problems. If you do get a Brute you MUST snorkel it because of the way the air intake is it is very easy to spash water in the airbox. The good thin is that there is a very good write up and parts list for snorkeling them on http://www.mudinmyblood.com and it will only cost you about $60-70.
