I swiped the inverter out of the van and installed it in the truck. As you can see, I am running out of places to mount things.
The wiring routes from an inline fuse at the batteries, through the right fender, into the door alongside the speaker wires, then out through the door panel to the unit.
It is powered by whichever battery is selected at the time. If one goes stone dead, I can switch over to the other and start the truck to charge them back up at 94 amps.
Not much to look at, but it is out of the passenger's way, yet easy to access when parked. Not ideal, but cab space is at a premium.
