This is my hopeful new offroad rig, Its an 1986 k5 blazer in pretty good shape runs like a top. I has a 127,000 miles on it and ac still works. Running gear is a 305 bolted to a 4 speed auto unknown trans case at this point and time. Has gm 10 bolt front end and rearend with 3.42 gears. has 33-12.50-15 mud kings for now. Future adons are some lights and a winch, a 4inch rough country lift. 35-14.50-15 tsls 15by10 inch wheels, up dated front and rearends maybe even dana60's. Some 4.88 gears and exhaust. Some sliders and rear bumper. What color Should i paint this thing???? Im very excited.!

The first thing you should do, is change those axles. That is what I had in my burb, until I shredded the rear gears.

That thing is gonna be a sweet rig! love the old blazers.

Thats prob what im gonna do we have a bunch of junk yards around my home town. Should i be happy with some dana 44's or Should i go straight for tha 60's

Thanks but its not mine yet but i sure hope tha man holds to his word about it!

I have a 10 bolt front 3/4 ton, and 14 bolt rear. Both are 3/4 tons with 4:10's and a detroit locker in the rear. The set up works very well. Oh, and Im running 35's also

i'd take my zuk over a blazer. But I do like the old k5's

What did you get your axles out of??? I love my samurai but i have always wanted a bronco or k5blazer with some wide 35's so i couldn't pass this up. Its been kinda a dream of mine.

They came out of an 83 chevy scottsdale 3/4 ton truck. I got a deal on it.

Well if tha deal goes through i will sure keep that in mind to start my project. What color should i paint it i was thinking yellow or burnt orange.. or blue?
