Just wondering if anyone had swapped out old school 6054 sealed beams for more modern equipment. Thinking of changing over the 79 F-150 to something a bit better in the lighting department and wanted ot hear experiences from others.
i think nickjc13 has some on his cherokee. if you want some seriously bright lights then get some and pit hid bulbs in them.
Yea I have the euro clear headlights with sylvania blue bulbs they pretty bright but eventually im going HID's my bro just got some and they are really nice.
I had some in a ricer I used to own...with Silverstar bulbs in them. Everyone swore up and down I had HID's. They were VERY bright on deserted backroads...felt like driving through a tunnel of light. I think I may put some on the XJ, but I don't really drive it at night much.

Grab you an lmc truck book for that year and model! They have the Euro style Headlights for around $35 bucks. Then you can buy the bulbs at any parts house.
