so i have been looking for some tires to run on the GREEN YOTA OF DEATH. i have been running 38" gumbo mudder for a while with little to no luck in the mud. the tires are great for hill climb but i need some better all around tires. i have been watching the SS LTB's. i was kind of unimpressed for a while because of the sizes offered, but now they got this 40" tire that has peaked my interest. i would rather have a 38 but i am ok with the 40's. (until some breaks) after reading tons of reviews from people all over the Mexican Repbulic of California, i still don't no how they are going to perform in any other terrain than rock.

i know some of you guys are running them and i was wondering how they do in Mississippi mud, hills, ect.

i know they have little or no road life, but that will no be a problem. if the truck hit the asphalt it is going to be on a trailer.

so tell me what you think
ltb's are great tires. about the only tire that will out perform them in mud is boggers. but i hope you plan on getting some longs for those yota axles if you plan on running 40s
well i was told at the point of purchase that it had longs in it but i pulled them out the other day and they are most deff not longs. but yes i have figured on that already. but i am planing on getting the good out of these and then getting the longs. if it break during a ride i am sure i will find something to ride in.
Yea LTB's are good tires I just HATE the way they look. I can't stand them for some reason. To me Bogger are the best in the mud but I will also have to say the Baja Claws would be a close second in my book. If I could get some good Iroks, 39.5" or even 42" I would trade out but until then I will keep the boggers.
I bought a set of almost bald 34's off craigslist and have been very impressed with them even with hardly any tread left. I will definately be buyin some more soon. They walked all over my buddy's brand new 33" mud country's a time or two
I just got a set of used 34 LTBs (thanks again Alex) I like them so far had a set of 32 TSL SXs that worked well offroad also but were murder on the road. The LTBs seem to act a little better on the road so far.
