Some of you guys have seen the pics of the front steering and suspention on my Jeep. I would like to do what Alex suggested, and change the steering to high steer componants. However, I am have one jeep of a time finding the flat top knuckles to do this. I have read alot of things about people taking their existing knuckles and having them milled down, but have heard all bad things about this. So I will not be doing that. Also I need to replace the flat leaf springs that are in the front. So my question is, should I nix the front leafs all together, and go back to coil spring? And if I did this, would it eliminate the need for high steering? I only want to fix this front end once, so I want to fix it properly the first time.
Thanks
Shannon
Here are some shots of the front end, the way it is now.
