Here's a box I built for a friend a few years ago. It's in a Silverado standard cab. 2-Rockford Fosgate Power HE2 12's. These things are airspace hogs...1.5 cu ft each (that's tough to find in a standard cab truck). I removed the center console/jumpseat and disassembled it. I re-used the upper portion with the storage compartments and armrests to retain the factory integrated appearance, as well as some functionality. Remounted the factory cupholders to the front of the center section, too. The center section of the box is didvided down the middle, donating half of its interior airspace to each sub, along with the airspace in the side boxes behind the seats. The 3" ports are tuned to 35 hz, as this guy likes the really low, boomy stuff. I originally upholstered this one in a tan pleather to match the interior of another truck, but he sold that one and bought one with grey suede on the headliner and door panels, so had the box recovered to match, but the appearance is almost identical to its original state (except my upholstery didn't have piping). One of the subs was removed in the pics because he was having problems and we were trying to diagnose some issues. I had pics of this one somewhere, but seem to have misplaced them...haven't seen the guy in 3 years and he just popped in at the house the other day to see if I knew what was wrong with his system. I had to snap some more shots for posterity. Anyway, here they are...if anybody wants something done, I work pretty cheap, just not real fast.

Wow, man. That is proffesional workmanship.
I have to say that looks good.
Beautiful work! Wow! You take pride in your work, for sure.
Very nice...
Thanks, guys. He said he has had hundreds of people ask where he had it done and comment on it. There are a few things I would do differently if I had the chance to do it over, like soften up the lines on the top front edge a little, etc.
That looks good!!!
