I thought it was ilegal to have a police scanner if your not a policeman.......correct me if I am wrong.....
No clue, if it is illegal then companies that provide police scanners and radar detectors to the public should be sued or shutdown by the LEOs... lovely now their attacking southern rednecks and Dukes of Hazzard, check out this reply by MiaPoet on PoliceLink:

I am a officer in part of union co. I forwarded both links to all the law enforcement I know in the area. I'm sure they like to be called morons.

I jumped in the wrong company car once. I realized my mistake before I pulled out, though. It was the president's car instead of the salesman's.
Nobody noticed, but I felt like a knucklehead.
How do you know the difference in the cars? Or do you find out once your key wont fit?

Yall stop getting so serious. NO need to get so offended by it and uptight. I've jumped in the wrong company truck early one morning too, half asleep. It was parked in front of the one I rode in on, jumped in, dazed off why my boss was laying on the horn behind me trying to tell me I was in the wrong truck but i was asleep lol He had to come get me.
i agree. simple mistake. a rather humorous mistake but stuff like that happens to everybody sooner or later
