I think someone on here linked to an overhead power accessory bar thread on another site. I stole his idea.

Went to Home Depot and got a 4ft section of shelving track.

I painted it black. It fits perfectly across the roll bars. No trimming required.

The other thread used hose clamps to hold it down, but I'm going to drill and tap it and the roll bars and secure it with screws.

The CB will go between the visors.

Here is where I'm looking to mount the antenna.

Sarah wants to know what you think?
Tell Sarah that I am concerned that it may twist fore and aft on rough roads with the weight of a CB in the middle of it.

Translated for Sarah, that would be: Bobba-gabobo naa naa smoo shoba?
Seems to be a pretty stout piece of metal. U-shaped channel.

I'll mount the CB, (I got a small Cobra 29 classic) and take her for a spin before I run the wires.
mount it on the underside of the bar so you dont have to take it off to put the top on........assuming you do
Man thats a good Idea. I may use that on my jeep. It is so hard to find a good mount for the CB. Thanks.
I finished this project, (Well maybe) about two weeks ago.

I just got around to getting some pictures.

Nice. You even have a place to store your contact lenses.
Looks Good, I like it
I like the idea, but i dont think it will work for me. I've got a "Besttop" bikini top and wraps around the cage where you got it mounted. Anybody got anymore ideas? I'm sure somebodys gonna tell me to change bikini's, haha
I got a polka dot bikini I will trade you for it. I just gotta take it off real quick..... You can wear it when you ride in your jeep around town!
