thanks

I would suggest either using the Toy rears up front. (lots of info on Pirate and Marlin about that.)
Or, keeping the front mains and replacing the others, cutting the F150s to length. (have fun cutting spring steel)

also, 4 inch YJ springs are supposed to work well on a Yota front. ("Bolt in!" so I've been told.)

Using complete F-150 springs on a yota requires welding on new hangers. Plus the center pin is offset, this could mess with your caster.
63 chevy's and rear and the rears up front and flipped. moves your front axle forward 2.75 inches and gives your 3-4 inches of lift overall. TONS OF FLEX and super simple to do! total cost
springs 50$
longer shocks ?
extended brake lines?
If you don't have crossover steering, you have to have that to run rears up front.
That is $400-$500
Have rained on your parade enough yet?Smile
if you have a non ifs truck you will need the ifs steering box mount, box bracket, highsteer kit, shock hoops, extened brake lines, 12" to 14" travel shocks, and some time. i am running the 63" chevys in the rear and the toyo rears in front and i love it. super flexy! i will say though it is not as cheap as everyone thinks if you do it right. the ifs boxes are easy to find but you can go ahead and plan on spending some money on the other stuff. unless you can find some deals. you may also have to trim the radiator support and front body mount to get the ifs box to fit far enoungh forward. you are welcome to call me if you have anymore questions 601-260-1070. best place to look is on pirate4x4.com just go to the toyota section and check out the toyota bible post
well worth the money!!! i got the highsteer for 300 shipped from trail-gear.com
well thanks for the input.. sorry i havnt gotten on for a little while right now im in afghan and internet is kinda iffy.. I been on pirate a million times i even gotten into arguments on there about how crappy the internet is here lol..

But.. i found out millions of ways to do the lift and i got sick and tired of looking up things and not really liking what i found.. SO i ended up going with marlin's lift.. I got it shipped to my house but they have to ship it in pieces because they said they dont have all the parts to it yet (weird).. And i orginally wanted 4 inch but they were out and had them on back order for the longest time so good old john convinced me to get the 5 incher..

But look out for my build.. I'm gonna be posting pictures when i get back.. you guys might know nate he drives the 85 k5 blazer.. he's probably gonna help me install some of the goods i got.. but who knows well see..

this is what i got so far.

aussie lockers..
marlin 5 inch lift kit.
trail gear rear drive shafts.

im gonna get.

marlin's front and rear rebuild kit for front and rear axles..
yukon 5.29 gears.
marlins differental rebuild kit for front and rear.
tires
winch

needs alot more but that is gonna be it for now but there is alot more to come..
