I have a problem with my four wheel drive on my 98 chevy. it wont engage i put a new actuator on it but it still not working. I checked the fuse and its good. The last option i know of is the sending unit on the t-case. I ordered it today and really need some help i want to go on the ride this weekend in the forest and i need it working if anyone has any ideas please help me out!
sounds like the tcase switch to me but check the wireing just in case
I figured it out it wasn't switch or the actuator it was the linkage between the floor handle and the t-case! I guess last time i pulled tha trans it got spun a half round to far and thats what messed me up. I Popped it loose and spun it one round and it works perfect. I did like you said and checked all the wires and i just had to try that and it worked Thanks for the info bud!
