Anyone know how to snorkle a 91 big bear 350 4x4?
And was thinking of thowing 26in or 27in swamp witches, would the 350 spin em?
check the forum over on highlifter.com for the snorkle. i'm sure somebody over there has made a snorkle for your model. as for the tires 26's should be fine. 27's may be a bit much if you get in real thick mud
I got 27" mud lites on my 02 rancher 4x4 and it's always done great with them. The boy who had it before me ragged on it real hard so I just had to replace the rear axle and ring gear. They were stripped. But as long as you dont go popping any wheelies the axle should be ok, and the motor should turn em fine. My rancher will still go about 56mph with the 27's lol
I have a 03 bigg bear i snorkeled myself and now i do it for a living. I cant exactly remember where the exhaust comes around at but i know you come out of the air box and use a 90 then another 90 or 45 to get it down past your leg. i use a inch and a halve rubber coupling so if i have to build the motor i dont have to cut it. Then you just run it up the fender or cut a hole using a whole saw a size bigger then your pipe. Make sure to run all your vent tubes atleast to the handlebars. Make sure the crankcase vent is hooked up good in your snorkel also. You may want to drill and tap a fitting into you snorkel. the to most important things are to plug the hose on the bottom of the carb with some thing you can remove so that if you ever flood it out you can drain it. Keep the carb vent off the side very clean and free of water, gas, or mud if not it can cause you very bad problems on the trail. Also sillicone your air box lid down to prevent leaks. ( AND ALWAYS TURN YOUR GAS OF WHEN YOUR DONE RIDDING FOR THE DAY)
