When my daughter had hers I swapped out the batteries for a motorcycle battery and you wouldn't believe how much faster it made it. BTW, no ill effects from the motorcycle battery; and they are a LOT cheaper than the Power Wheels batteries.

I had a car battery in my son's Bigfoot. I have video tape of him spinning donuts in the driveway. You should've seen him; countersteering to control the drift....at 3 yrs old!!
It worked great until he flopped it one day. Mom was there to right it, and he was not hurt.
Later in the week, he got it in a bind and roasted both motors.
It was hillarious while it lasted.

ha when i was about 8 or 9 we lived in south jackson for a short while between moving from georgia to here. and seemed everyone had a broken powerwheels jeep or truck or something... we all pulled the motors off and pushed them down the road like a soap box derby kinda deal.. steep paved road hill with a sharp left hand turn at the end.. NOTE. plastic tires dont turn well.. road rash sucks hahaha

We did the same once the motors were shot, Sheepdawg. With me pushing as fast as I could on the driveway, the young drivers had their hands full to keep the things from wiping out. We saw some good spin-outs.
Good times.
