Does anyone know where I can find those quick connects ( or whatever they are called), for an 89 cherokee doors?

And are they expensive and easy to install?
i don't think anybody sells any kind of quick connects for cherokee doors. you can easily modify the stock hinges so that the doors lift off. i cut the hinges on my mj so that the doors are easily removeable
do it the real cheap way.. unbolt them ha
unbolting them is a major pita on a cherokee. here is how i made mine removable. the pics are somewhere near the bottom of this page http://www.mississippi-mud.com/forums/sh...20&page=10
I tried unbolting them, and it took for ever. And then when I put them back on, they would not open and close correctly. That was several months ago, and I never did get them to line up right.
but the bottom part of the hinge off. thats how i did mine. open door. undo speaker wire and the latch that keeps the door open pin. lift door up and walk away with the door. then just slide it in install said things above. close door.
i think the only difference between mine and rednecks is that i actually put mine back on.
Edit: i just looked at his build and there is a slight difference. once i cut the hinge i did not knock the pin out. i still use the origional pin. and it fits snug. i tried replacing one with a bolt and the threads kept getting caught in the hole. just something to think about.
also i only take my two front doors off. because if anything hit the pillar in between the front and rear door my jeep would crush like a tin can. i think yours is a 2dr though isnt it?

i used a long bolt and cut the threads off and tapered the end a bit with a grinder. and i did put ,mine back on for the trip to morris mountain. as soon as it rolled off the trailer they came off until it was time to go back on the trailer.
I will give your suggestions a try. But first I have to get the dang things lined back up properly. Oh, and yes, mine is a two door.
