It is too nice to stay inside today. The boys and I are about to throw some bikes in the back of the truck and hit the Longleaf Trace by way of Jackson Station in Hattiesburg.

The trace is a rail-to-trails program that provides the public with over 40 miles of smooth, fairly flat bicycle trail that starts at the college in H'burg and runs west. It is free, and it is very well maintained.

I for got the camera. Too bad, too, because Scooter wrecked twice. He's O.K. though.
MAN!! What an awesome day to be outside! I got a good workout, too. We rode from Jackson Station to Eply Station pretty much non-stop on Walmart bikes. 14.4 miles round trip.

I forgot what trees looked like. Bet that was nice.
