While we were out on our little excursion today, I found out the my new exhaust gets alittle hot. My daught had here coat laying on the floor of the jeep, and when I got out of the ditch, we noticed alot of smoke. So this ended up being the culpret.











I think Im going to have to get a heat sheild.

my xj's floor pans get so hot you can not even touch them! between tranny and exhaust the heat that gets transfered to the floor is actualy a lot... i have singed my leg hairs before and i am not surprised the jacket got hot enough to catch... i heat wrapped the exhaust - best way to kill most of heat anyways - also heat shields or air bake pans strategically placed work best
