That thing is GINOURMAS... I did a size comparison and it was definitly harder to get in the 4runner than it is to get in my jimmy. Just wait till you get bigger tires on there, it'll be even bigger...
Oh, and that dana 60 will magically disappear later today after I weld the tubes to the housing

This thread is

I been thinking.. im gonna see what it does after the 350 is installed.. if its still way to tall i will go ahead and buy the 4 inch springs like i planned on doing at the beginning.. But over all the front axle is moved 1.5" forward.. now my 33's clear the fire wall completely but i dont think 35's or bigger will clear i will have to cut and bend the fire wall.. i saw a cool write up on pirate on how to do it and it looked pretty cool to..
I got the rest of the parts to install the rear axle.. finally i have the axles underneath this beast.. I got to finish welding the rear spring mounts i just had to check the shackel's and they look like the way i want them for the rear set up.. the front is still high but i havnt moved this thing or tryed to drive it to settle the springs at all.. They are some flexy springs tho i was jumping on the front hanger and they moved pretty good and im a really light guy.. I just dont like the hight because im afraid it will be to top heavy.. but ill rock it and see how it goes here goes the pictures.. give me yall's input tell me what you think im open to everyone.

if you haven't welded the shackle mounts on yet you could mover them forward another inche or two and get a little more suspension travel out of the rear. ideal shackle angle is 40-45 degrees. but since they are new springs i wouldn't go quite that far since they will flatten out some after they get broken in. oh and get rid of that strap. those straps with the metal hooks aren't very safe
I'll move the shackel mounts after i move the vehicle around and maybe drive it a little bit.. then I'll see how they sit and make adjustments from there.. see the rear shackel mount is spost to move 2" from the stock mount center hole to center hole and the front mount is spost to move 6" from the stock mount center hole to center hole.. NOW on the 4 runners marlin keeps telling me that i want to move the rear shackel mount 2 and 3/4 inches instead of 2" from the stock location.. I told them that its best for the 45 degree angle but they say that they found that the 4 runners and the 4 runners only flex better and keep its hight better when you move it like that so i did it to see what will happen and after i move it and the springs bounce around and settle a little bit ill double check it and make adjustments from there.. but marlin's advice is to keep it more of a up and down then at 45 degrees i'm kinda against it but i'll try there way first because they done more lifts to toyota than i have.. The next thing is the gear box i have to get that from you this weekend and install that.. thanks for the tip on the strap i cant see getting rid of a strap tho but so i will just cut off the metal ends unless you think that is a no no..
that added some height eh.
I would like to see a picture from back a ways so we can see the whole thing. I can't quite get the overall picture in my mind from the close-up shots.
I'm gonna move it out of the shop today hopfully.. once i do ill take some more pictures of it at a distance.. its gonna be kinda hard to move it out of the shop because i have no gear box installed so i cant steer it with the wheel i have to push the tires to where i want it to go.. so ill get some more up today hopfully..
ok i had my buddy nate come over and help me move this thing out of the shop and then i took some more pictures.. when we moved it the shackels actually setteled a little bit more so once i am able to drive it i think it will settle to where i want them but we will see.. here are the pictures from a distance and next to nates k5 blazer..
